# Bajke za decu

> Bajke za decu is a bedtime-story app in Serbian for children aged 3 to 7: fairy tales, fables, lullabies and calming sleep sounds. A narrator reads the story, the child reads along with pictures, or a parent records their own voice. No ads, no account, and it works offline. Android (Google Play); iOS is not available yet.

Serbian (sr) is the app's language, in Latin or Cyrillic script, ekavian. Published by DEUTRIX IT DOO Novi Sad, Serbia.

## What is in it

- **Bajke (fairy tales), 6–8 minutes each.**
  - Serbian folk tales from Vuk Karadžić's collections: Pametna kći, Devojka brža od konja, Nemušti jezik.
  - Classic fairy tales retold for small children: Mačak u čizmama, Crvenkapa, Pepeljuga, Snežana i sedam patuljaka, Ivica i Marica, Tri praseta, Trnova Ružica, Zlatokosa, Vuk i sedam jarića, Ružno pače.
- **Basne (Aesop's fables), 3–4 minutes each:** Zec i kornjača, Lisica i gavran, Lav i miš, Cvrčak i mrav, Lisica i roda, Gradski i seoski miš.
- **Uspavanke (lullabies), about 3 minutes each:** Mesečeva uspavanka, Tiho more, Šumska kolevka, Zvezdana pesma, Stara kolevka.
- **Sleep sounds that loop until the child sleeps:** kiša (rain), more (sea), kamin (fireplace), veš-mašina (washing machine), fen (hair dryer), vožnja autom (car ride).

Every story is illustrated and gently retold, without frightening scenes. Each story has a short note on where it comes from and what it teaches, and a question to talk about afterwards.

## Three ways to a story

- **Čitaj mi (read to me):** a recorded narrator reads, page by page, and a lullaby can follow at the end.
- **Čitam sam (I read):** text and pictures, page by page, for reading together or alone.
- **Snimi i pusti (record and play):** a parent records the story in their own voice. The recording stays on the phone; where it stops, the narrator continues.

## Free and paid

- **Free:**
  - Nine stories: Zec i kornjača, Lisica i gavran, Lav i miš, Pametna kći, Devojka brža od konja, Nemušti jezik, Mačak u čizmama, Crvenkapa, Pepeljuga.
  - All lullabies and all sleep sounds, recording your own voice, and badges.
- **Subscription (Google Play):** RSD 1,999 a year or RSD 299 a month.
  - Opens the whole library and the new stories as they arrive, for every child on the device.
  - Can be cancelled at any time in Google Play.
- **Magic wands:** earned through badges for evenings spent with a story, a wand opens one locked story for good, and it stays open even without a subscription.

## For parents

- **No account, no ads.** The child's name, progress and voice recordings are stored only on the phone. The app sends only anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase), with the advertising ID switched off and nothing about the child.
- **Behind a parental gate:** settings, purchases and outside links are for adults.
- **Bedtime tools:** screen lock (hold to unlock), one-tap dimming, and a lullaby at the end of a story.
- **Offline:** stories, lullabies and sounds download over Wi-Fi and then work without internet.
- **Rewards without pressure:** badges and wands for evenings with a story; a missed night does not count against the child.
